Example #1: A child is caught eating a candy bar before bedtime.

The child is caught and makes an excuse:

"Daddy said it was okay if I eat candy before bedtime.."

    1. The child is caught being disobedient
    2. The child is caught lying
    3. The child is blame-shifting in the name of his Father.

Watch Tower Society publishes "Truth" which turnes out to be dead wrong.

They enforce belief and obedience by speaking in His Name.

Now consider the question of RESPONSIBILITY, LIABILITY and BLAME

Example #2: A man name Tom Smith makes a wrong turn and crashes into your car injuring your family
Example #3: A man named Tom Smith wearing an AJAX PLUMBING uniform, driving a car with AJAX PLUMBING on the side
makes a wrong turn and crashes into your car injuring your family.
Acting in the capacity of an AGENT (employee)---Tom Smith's employer becomes a target of liability.

CONCLUSION: When the Watch Tower publishes teachings and enforces obedience they are AGENTS of Jehovah.
When their doctrines and predictions crash into our lives and injure us they create de facto blameshift
    onto Jehovah.
Why? They have the unmitigated hubris to use "JEHOVAH" as their uniform and the SIGN under which they operate.

If ever there was an example of 'TAKING THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD IN VAIN' surely it rests in these examples.

    Lesson learned?

By using the name of Jehovah, Jehovah's Witnesses drag the 'holy' name of Almighty God into every mis-step, error, false prophecy

and hurtful policy the GB creates no matter how good their intentions are.

That analogy is true only if Tom Smith was actually hired by the Ajax plumbing company. What if Mr. Smith took the van and uniform without consent.

So,Let me say,If regular JWs publisher does something wrong! He needs to take full responsibilty. He can not blame others for his/her sinful nature because that would be considered non remorseful and bad attitude.

However, if GB enforces a law through WT articles and books he can blame it on the light, holy spirit, and Jehovah when things go wrong. Therefore, never takes responsibilty for mentally and physically harming billions of lives!

Statements like,"It is Jehovah we need to wait on for new information." is actually lacking responsibilty and blaming God!

    Good point Terry!
