    Looks like there is a "hospitality committee" that has been desgnated to "sell" the convention city for each place an international convention is being held.

    Other posts on this site have displayed the websites for Detroit & Atlanta, this one is for New Orleans.

    On my work computer (sorry boss) most of the links are blocked, so I can't see what they contain.

    But I'm sure the emphasis is on the "imminence" of Armageddon and has nothing to do with New Orleans restaurants and nightlife!

    Jehovah is a bit slow, not only "respecting his promises", to quote 10CC "two thousand years and he ain't shown yet", but he is having difficulty with his Introduction to I.T Course his Instructor tells me.

    You have to make excuses for him, he is, after all, from a culture of nomadic life and goat-herding from 3 Thousand years ago.

    Baltar, i felt the same way...

    As if the god of the universe would operate like this with such tacky. corporate like websites and brochures. It is just so cheap and gawky and as far from the sense of 'spiritual' as you can be.

    It looks like some cheap over 60's tour of new orleans that will end up being far more expensive than it is worth evident by the half arsed attempt to make it look exciting and organised..... Three days of yawning is about to cost a lot of people a lot of ca$h.

    Huh, JW.Org gets to use the Lucky Dog in promoting their assemblies? Not even the god of Good Luck will help them since they have bad mouthed him as well. So now it's ok to use the word lucky in their brochures? I remember getting corrected over and over with using the word luck or lucky in my conversations when I first started this cult:(
