Focus on Pedos In UK. And Australia Bad News for WTS?

Does anyone seeing the increasing focus on exposing historic peodophillia in the UK and Australia think that this could be a precursor for increased attention on the WTS?

In the UK the media is now writing about a big political cover-up of child abuse that was committed by senior public figures during the 70's and 80's. Child abuse was everywhere !

those few cases where witnesses were involved are not important enough to make a real impact or impression

I'm not envisaging a direct link or transition, just wondering if there could a series of developments that end up with religions organisations having to be far more proactive in cleaning up their act.
