If the WTBTS can have a Hospital Liaison Committee (HLC), then why not a Child Protection Liaison Committee (CPLC)?
Elders can form positive relations with police and children's services BEFORE an incident is reported.
Make it clear that the WTBTS has a zero tolerance attitude to child abuse, and has a desire to root out this evil as soon as it is exposed.
Co-operate with the appropriate organizations to protect the abused, not to protect the abuser/image of the WTBTS.
If it is important to ensure that blood is not administered, then surely it is more important to protect vulnerable children from abuse that will affect them for the rest of their lives?
