Governing Body name change

I was reading at FORO EXTJ a mention of a name change that's been in the works for months it seems.

The WT at JW.org in Spanish is calling the Governing Body "consejo central" without capitalizing the name.

Here's the Spanish news release item about Guy Pierce passing away:

    http://www.jw.org/es/noticias/comunicados-de-prensa/por-region/mundiales/fallece-guy-pierce-consejo-central/

The English news release is at:

    http://www.jw.org/en/news/releases/by-region/world/guy-pierce-governing-body-member-dies/

Now compared to the English news item is there really a need to say "consejo central" in order to explain the term Cuerpo Gobernante?

Or is this leading to a renaming of the WT Oligarchs?

Central Counsel, I believe. The google translation of the opening paragraph uses the term "main board" in parentheses behind the gb term.

Looks just like an explanation to me. He was a member of the Governing Body, and because worldlings outside the US do not know what a Governing Body is, they explained that it is the "central counsel" or "main board" of Jehovah's Witnesses.

(AFAIK the term "Governing Body" is quite common in English. But the German translation ("Leitende Körperschaft") is used exclusively by JWs. There is no other "Governing Body" here except the "Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses." That may explain why they explain the term in some languages, while in other languages they don't.)
