True they ate, they died, but on the other hand if they never ate from it,they could(would ) of died anyways.

Let me illustrate:On a store shelf there are many products. One of them has a label"POISON" IF EATEN YOU WILL SURELY DIE.If a person consumes the POISON he is one dead SOB no question. On the other hand if he doesn't eat the POISON he will eventually die anyways.

Yeah I get it...... in this case (if you eat the fruit) it will

kill you ...you will die from it. So.....if I (god) don't let

you eat from the tree of life .......you will die eventually

    anyway!

Eating Fruit did not kill Adam & Eve.. Rather they were given a choice, and they chose the path that resulted in knowing Evil & Temporary Death.

    They had 2 choices :

    1. Live forever only knowing Good, in the presence of God.

    2. Know both Good & Evil, but suffer temporarily As a result of Knowing Evil.

As soon as they were cast away from the Presence of God, they began to,know and experience Evil.. God still loved them, so he made them a promise. The promise was of a Saviour who would deliver them from Evil.

When Jesus suffered Adam & Eve were delivered from Evil.. " made alive in the spirit; 19 in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison, 20 who once were disobedient" 1 Peter 3:19

the Adam and Eve story was taken from a Sumerian story about a guy named Adamu that got a chance to become immortal if he would eat the food put out for him but his father thought it was a trick and told Adamu not to eat and he did not and lost out on immortality.

    Another illustration

Father,Mother, child(Jesus). They have the above products in their house.However.they have an antidote for the PIOSON.Father tells Jesus not to drink the PIOSON or he will die. They get a babysitter (Eve) who tells Jesus he will not die if he drinks the PIOSON.Next day when the parents are not looking,Jesus drinks the PIOSON.Father refuses to give to give Jesus the antidote because he was told not to drink the PIOSON.Jesus gone now.

they died because they could not reach the tree of life anymore. those twirling swords.

they lived to ~ 1000 anyway, even without the tree of life.

The writers should have done a flow chart before they put down that mixed up contradictory story, and

left future generations to spin yarns on that.
