Isn't it amazing that the Elders are more loyal to a rubber stamp on a letter from New York or whatever branch, than they are to the people they know and have known for years in their own congregation?

When you think about that, the reason is that they get their power from that rubber stamp. That is what appointed them, and that is what can unappoint them. It is not a matter of being loyal to a God that one knows or the son of God that one knows by name, but an anonymous rubber stamp.

Interesting thought. Words on a piece of paper are very powerful. Thus the saying, "The pen is mightier than the sword."

If you want to see the future, imagine a rubber stamping a human face forever.

These guys truly believe that Jesus picked the leaders to be their leaders that's why their so loyal. During several meetings with a few of my elders they never asked me if I believe in Jehovah or Jesus, no the question was always did I believe the gb were the faithful slave? Truly Idol worshipers.
