This is what is posted. From a traffic point of view, there is usually 40,000+ sessions each week (roughly equates to 'visitors') so things do get read and I expect this will increase following dateline.

    What does this mean?

Well, unfortunately, if too many people post too many threads then it gets difficult to follow (more posts within threads are not as bad).

Because of this it may be necessary to limit the number of new topics that can be started to try and stop the same topics being repeated too often. You can help by looking first to see if a topic has been recently started by someone else before creating a new one and keeping a discussion to one topic.

One way this can be avoided is to use the subject areas better. please try and post into the appropriate place and this will help to organise things better. Some new areas have been requested and I should be adding these in the next day or two.

Don't take this as a complaint though - it's nice to be busy!

And I was under the impression things had dropped right off.
This month has seemed VERY quiet to me.
    Wrong again.

I think I'd throw up my suggestion again of having, *withing the subject areas*, threads sorted by last post.

It makes it MUCH easier for n00bs (or, indeed, anyone used to typical BBS formats) to see what threads are 'hot'. Since it's generally 'hot' topics that get duplicate threads, the existing thread being right near the top tends to cut down on that.

I'd also suggest to remove the thread 'rating' column and put in the last posters name. I don't see the 'rating' being used often, and I have to admit, it would be nice to be able to browse through the list of threads I've posted to and check to see if I was still the last poster in many of them without having to open each thread.
