You have to pay for a membership to download documents from Scribd. You can read some documents online, but to save a copy, you need to cough up the bucks.

Many times, if you're on a Desktop or Laptop you can right click and select Print. When the Print dialogue opens select "Save to PDF" as the Printer.

Some of the stuff on Scribd is Protected against this tactic, but it appears that the posted link can be saved to PDF.
