I'm always dipping into C of C and 'Freedom'.

In Crisis of Conscience, Ray examines the oral sex issue in some detail. He candidly says that this practise did not meet his personal standards but that he was troubled in voting with the majority to enforce a ban on 'rank & file' JW's.

Many of these wrote in to the society to question, in Ray's words; the Scriptural basis for the Governing Body members inserting themselves into the private lives of others in such a way...

Okay, maybe it's just my juvenile mind but it made me chuckle!

Ray Franz also quotes from the book "Princes in All the Earth" which confidently made predictions about the future use of internet chat rooms:
"Everybody in the world will be 'in one room', so to speak. The room will be a little larger than we may have been accustomed to hold meetings in; but what of that?"
but Ray admits two pages later that, "It was without substance, mere fluff".

Oh, if only they knew!
