Matt. 24:14 "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."
Jws claim they are the only ones who preach the good news that the
kingdom of God was invisibly established in the year 1914. The
fact of the matter is that the early Christians never alluded to
this date--yet they did preach the good news eons before the W.T.
Society saw its inception. And there continuted to be those
who preached the good news up to the founding of the W.T.-- and
thereafter, even until now.
And was this good news a date (or year)? No, the true gospel is
primarily the good news of our redemption by the blood of Jesus
Christ, which redemption is to be appropriated by faith (1 Cor. 1:
17-18, 23-24 and 15:1-4; Col. 1:19-23). The gospel preached by the
Apostle Paul and by Christians throughout the centuries has been primarily about a Person, Christ crucified and risen from the dead. (1 Cor. 1:22-24).
