Hi all,
Would anybody mind sending me a copy of Dateline to Australia? VHS NTSC, VCD or PAL formats OK - anything!!! I am willing to pay for postage and costs. I don't want to miss out on this and Dateline is not aired where I live..... Please help!!!!!

How come you guys don't get Dateline down in Australia? NBC is only shown there part of the day?
I'm sure someone on this board can help you, I personally have to find a way to see it without my parents bothering me .

Why would we be getting NBC here in Oz? We only get cable TV stations that are internationally-based, such as BBC and CNN. The rest of our stations are Australian-based.

Usually the ABC and SBS show programmes that are American, British or Canadian made, but they are shown a few months or years after they were first broadcast in the States. I wouldn't think it would be too long we'd have to wait after the original Dateline prgramme is broadcast.
PS Here in Oz we have a TV current affairs show that is called Dateline, but isn't the same as the American Dateline.
I heard about people downloading the new Star Wars movie from the Internet before it was even released.
Is anyone able to rip that Dateline into *.mp3 or whatever format and make it available for downloading??

Didn't realize that you guys didn't get channels like NBC. I figured they were like CNN with international affiliates. Most of the shows are relevant on a world wide scale, and I know many U.S. based shows are shown overseas (but a delay of years? That sucks.)
It would probably be possible to buy a tape straight from NBC. This would probably be pretty expensive, however.
