Hi all,
I believe the Watchtower has all "Watchtower" and "Awake" from the beginning available on CD-ROM. How can I get hold of one and can we be sure that entries have not been changed to suit todays teachings - ala "Big Brother" and the "Ministry of Truth"? I would love to get a copy of this... any suggestions?

Not true. Watchtowers from 1950. Awake!s from 1970. Various other books, KMs, booklets and pamphlets, but nonthing is from the beginning.

1) Go to your latest Kingdom Hall, become a dub and wait patiently. Get your CD, and bolt. You will be DF'd or DA'd, but you'll have your CD.
2) Find a friend who will provide you with a copy.

actually it's not that hard...call brooklin and ask for one...tell them you are doing your own research (cause they will first tell you to ask for one at your KH)and they will send you one. Worked for me.
Thanks for the advice guys! I don't think I will be joining the Borg just to get a CD, however - I would not last very long as I am a smoking, swearing hard-core atheist!!!!!
I might contact Brooklyn but I am a bit worried I wil be hassled to have a bible study or suddenly get a flock of JW's at my door!!! Maybe someone with one would be willing to burn a copy for me? If there is a copyright issue(?), I will find another way....

They come up for sale on E-bay. 1999 is the latest CD although older versions are more commonly sold.
You can get older Watchtowers (the 1910 type stuff) from Randy's site (I think). Try the WatchTower Store link at the top right.
