I resoundingly say no they won't. They will just worm their way out of it,

I'd love to see it happen, but under the current system no they wont.

If the majority of input the UK Tax Commission receives is from JWs and the WTBTS, then the answer would be "NO".

On the other hand if 25% of ex-JWs in the UK, wrote/called/appeared at the UK Tax Commission and related their experiences in the WTBTS, then the answer would be "YES".

What is your choice? Get involved or do nothing?

Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

I see us and many other religions/faiths/cults, whatever label preferred, losing their tax free status. It'll happen, just a matter of time.

It'll be a sad day for all religions. You'll see a lot of consolidations and mergers just to stay afloat when that happens.

    Exciting times ahead!

I do hope so, but I doubt it. The Charity Commission is totally toothless, it does not have the resources to investigate Charities properly, and believe me, there are good number of dodgy ones out there. (I was asked to be Trustee of one!!!").

Of course we know the reality, but the WT/JW.org SCAM claims they do "Bible education" work in the Community, and of course, their mere claim to do this is enough for the Fat Cats who sit on the Commision to accept without question, and pick up their fees for sitting on the Commision.

It frustrates and disgusts me, but all we can do is as Robert says above, write and tell it like it is.
