Despite Pope Francis saying in July, " Church to weep and make reparation for (victims) ", The Hartford Roman Catholic Archdiocesan Corp.says not in my backyard or even front yard !

The retroactive extended statute of limitations for lawsuits filed by victims of sexual abuse is being appealed to the Connecticut Supreme Court.

Archbishop Blair came to Hartford in 2013 after serving for 10 years as archbishop in Toledo, Ohio. During that time he lobbied strongly against a bill in the Ohio state legislature extending the time limits for filing lawsuits.
