Heard there is a new album, how is it.
I enjoy listening to Led Zeppelin recordings from when they were in their heyday. The reunions have been awful and their individual solo albums have generally been disappointing.
If you can get your hands on their boxed set, get it. That was the biggest selling box set of all time for a good reason. Bear in mind you will still miss out on quite a few of their good songs that are only on their original albums. I put Led Zeppelin right up there with Michael Jackson--and I highly recommend Michael Jackson's Thriller album. That was the greatest selling single album, also with good reason.
FFS it's Robert Plant not Plante! (Does berrygerry start any threads without typos in the title?)

Ouch.
(Yeah, I realized it later but you cannot change the thread title.)
I watched Robert on the Tonight Show. He was fantastic as usual.
Nosferatu, clearly you have severe limitations with your musical taste. Did you not hear the album Robert did with Alison that cleaned house on the Grammy's? Hello?

I agree that his first solo effort was not great.
I would compare that to Wings - pretty much fluff music.
However, I would never say that later collaborations diminish previously-displayed phenomenal talent.
