I used to be able to put in a date and a reminder 2hours in advance. I updated my sw and now cannot set reminders. So now I need a paper diary.

You still can, there a minor glitch where you have to set the appointment, save it, then "edit" and it will give you the option to set the reminder as you would in the past. Apple is supposed to fix it soon

Oops, i spoke to soon! Already fixed with 8.02. Just update and it will be there for you again :)

If you can't find it, ask Siri. She can set your appointments for you if you can't figure it out
