this makes me so angry. we who were raised in this cult were all taught we were undeniably safe at the KH and amongst our "brothers and sisters". Some of us werent even safe in our OWN HOMES.

I'm sorry for the victims, but I applaud their courage to speak out against the crimes perpetrated against them, not only the acts of sexual abuse themselves, the absolute failure on the part of the congregation elders and the WTBTS to protect them from this molestation and abuse.

So much for the new changes to the appointment of elders, MS and pioneers being because of Jehovah's blessing and direction...more like CYA!

Sorry for the victims, but a standing ovation for commencing the lawsuit.
I can almost certainly guarantee that on the few remaining pro-JW boards, virtually all the comments will bewail that "Jehovah's name is being disgraced" - NOT because of the victims, but because the name "Jehovah" appears in the headline.

Jeezus, I can't even keep track of 'em all anymore.

It was one thing to hear Rick Simons and Irwin Zalkin tell us that there were many other cases waiting in the wings...
...it's another thing entirely to actually see it unfold.

Wow.

All those years ago, you called it.
There's a fundamental irony in having a former member's "prophecy" about her religion come true, particularly when said religion has an undeniable track record of consistently failed "prophecies".

I agree I'm starting to loose track of the cases been filed. To think less than 18 months ago I never thought anything would stick to Teflon watchtower in court.
