Then there is the difference between the Gregorian calendar and the other one for the count of time (which calendars usually do),......whatever that's called......sorry....senior moment.
This is called complicating simplistic conclusions with factual information.
Does this mean 1914 is...... wrong?
Now where have we seen something like this before (WMF's Wiki link above)?
For accurate measure, you need to use the same measurement systems used by the original builders. That screwed up the Hubble telescope--one team used the dinosaur system while another used metric. If something was built using dinosaurs, you need to use dinosaurs (unless you can transfer the whole project to another system). And, if something has spiritual meaning when measured in dinosaurs, you are going to lose that meaning by translating to metric. Ditto if they used an ancient system and you go to inches or centimeters.
Unless you know what you are doing, it is impossible to accurately predict anything with numbers. You can make numbers mean anything, especially by changing the units. Just ask all those who thought December 21, 2012 was going to be the end of the world. Just ask OBVES with his complex numerology (bogus) that predicted 2011 was the end. Just ask any of those idiots that thought May 21, 2011 and then October 21, 2011 was the end of the world. Unless you are good at using numerology, or you are simply trying to put a curse on someone or a people, you are likely to get bad predictions doing this--and those numbering the books, chapters, verses, and wording of the LIE-ble were masters in numerology, using it to put a curse on us all.
The egyptians used a system of measure that gradually evolved into the imperial measurements anyway so they used a version of the inch and foot. By the time of the Romans we can see a system that closely matches the imperial system.
Regardless of what actual measuement Russell used it's irrelevant. He came up with different measurements at varous times then fudged his own numbers when things didn't turn out as he falsely prophesied.
Rutherfraud sunbsequently condemned the pyramids as "Satan's stone witness" after Russell declared them "God's witness in stone" prior to the 1914 failed prophecies.
And, as punkie eluded to, the Egyptians used a 360 day lunar calendar, Russell used a 365 day solar (Gregorian) calendar. You can't draw a straight line from 607-1914 no matter what system of measurement you use.
