  This week's service meeting had some letter read about the web site use and these words: "---INSTRUCTOR" jolted me out of the work I was doing.

  so this is how the wt sees their indoctrination now, or always did: the new recruit has a personal INSTRUCTOR. not even a study, where there is give and take, examination, analysis . Instructor, like strapped into a seat and told what to do, how to do it; follow the instructions I give you!.

  This followed the most dry, callous treatment on homosexualty.

  what will be the next instruction from the Instructors?

  This doesn't seem "out-of-line" for this cult. Think about it, we were constantly admonished to follow the "instructions" from HeadQuarters concerning where to lodge, how to dress, etc for any type of Assembly or Convention. Follow instructions. We are your instructors. Listen, OBEY, and be blessed!

  Logical progression if you ask me. This cult is SICK.

  When my mother was baptized in the early 50's, the WTS instituted a new training program assigning a jw (a more experienced sister in her case) to TRAIN them in the door to door work, return visits, bible studies. They had a 3 to 8 minute sermon then (had to memorize). (that's right, SERMON not presentation). Can you imagine people at the door standing there for 3 to 8 minutes?
