I can't help but think if you were an in house bethel lawyer sitting in the KH listening to how much love / openness and transparency / accountability the organisation displays as been the one true religion. Then the next day going to court throwing some legal loop hole and a sex abuse case to get them off it.When you knew that the offender had left a multitude of victims and that the policies and procedures of that organisation had aided him. I don't know how they can go around knocking on doors with all this on their mind. So what would you do if you were a lawyer.

Part of law school training seems to be turning off your own morality - it doesn't matter if your client is really guilty or not, your job is to defend him, period.
Someone who has such training likely cares little whether the client they are defending, the WTS, is "true Christianity" or not.

Fittingly (if I remember correctly) his name was Bro Toole, very unfortunate name for a lawyer I always thought.
What goes through any lawyer's mind;

Well the female lawyers can say I cant be one of the 144000 , but I sure as hell can be one that gets a good percentage of the payout that is coming our way in a lawsuit .
