They will just invent more "new tricks" or recycle old ones.

Personally, I think they are considering using the 120 years of Noah's last days to invigorate the members for 2134. They would hold on a little while longer (say 10 more years) but trot it out when membership really takes a nosedive. And their words will be so carefully crafted as to say "We never said 'Simon Says,' ....er.....I mean we never said it was for sure, so it must still be that overlap thingee." Somewhere down the road, after our lifetimes, they will abandon 1914. Eventually, their membership will dry up, but there will be quite a bit of fanaticism before that.

Of course, it all can change as lawsuits and donations dry up their funds, or if some big enough scandal hits the gossip circuit. They might even speed it up themselves with goofy doctrines and selling Kingdom Halls and that internet television thing that just feels wrong.

But whatever happens, it will die a slow death as it draws in to a tighter circle.

By introducing jw.org and the associated hype of the badges, logos etc...along with the hype of the website, they have started a rolling snowball that will just get bigger and bigger with more momentum....

I don't think the jw hype will die for some time now sadly......

They are all hyped up on a lot of fluffy nonsense....but hyped up nonetheless...
