Winter (Sung to the tune of Roger Miller's "England Swings", 1st stanza)
by Always Busy
I hate Winter, yes I do,
City workers on snowplows two by two. ... Black ice, flue shots, here we go again,
Snotty, red noses of the little children.
I hate Winter, positively I do,
Shovels and heart attacks two by two.
Turn up the heat, go back to bed,
All I want to do is cover up my head.
I hate winter, I confess,
Slush and dirty snow, what a mess!
If I die in winter, I'll be really mad,
Thinkin' 'bout the next summer I could've had.
