I apologize for not posting all the info with hi-lights, but it's nothing you geniuses can't figure out. I have no laptop and can't use the wife's, it's too risky. There are two websites I checked out, just out of curiosity. The reasons the WTBTS decide to rebrand are obvious. Just reading a bit about rebranding made it all click. I already knew it, but reading why corporations rebrand made me realize what a true corporation the WTBTS is!

    2) http://www.risingabovethenoise.com/how-to-rebrand-19-questions-ask-before-you-start/

The "19 questions" section is particularly interesting. I laughed my ass off reading it. Maybe you will too! 😝

Nice. I agree that they definitely met most, or all, of the criteria that make a business ripe for rebranding.

On the shared computer front - I use Google's chrome browser, which has an "incognito mode" that leaves no trace once you close the browser window (assuming your wife isn't one to examine/interpret router logs)

Hmmm... I can probably go incognito. She's less advanced than I am, or is she????

I wonder if during their rebranding efforts they will change doctrine to make them as bland as all the other christians religions like the baptists or 7thday so as to not have any big reasons for ones not to join and others to leave. This would also make the religion less of a pain in the ass for children of the ones already in?

You don't change something that is working.

YOU CHANGE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT WORKING!

They will stamp New and Improved over everything next.

Look at how well that worked for coke.

Hahaa, "does our brand tell the wrong (or outdated) story?"

    Yes.

    Yes it does.

I think they've been too smart with their rebranding for it to be done in house. I wonder what third party company they had come in and do all this.
