Just finished watching Dateline. I was very much impressed.
It didn't make the Watchtower look good at all. I bet
there's a whole lot of squirming going on their part tonight, with
more to come. The W.T. now faces two lawsuits.

They face two that we know about. There are probably more and now there will be more to come.

What got me was the closing words of Stone Phillips about how Bill and the others now face "expulsion" from the church

Yeah, they tend to present 'devils advocate' sides to the story, I was afraid when they got into the whole 'WBTS *says* this and WTBTS *says* that' that the whole story was about to blow away.

But, then, they totally turned it around and hammered 'em even harder.

    LOVE IT!

Loved the kingdom melodies, too. Gawd, been a LONG time since I've heard them....

They played kingdom melodies? That's gonna sound creepy to anyone outside the org!

Love how they noted that most watching would die at Armageddon.

That was a great line about who would be destroyed, wasn't it? Makes the reality of what they teach out in the open.

I thought it was a great show... brought out things from the WT closet. The WT didn't have nerve for any real interviews with Daateline.

    I noticed that too, Sunstarr.
Posting about that remark in another thread as soon as I replay the tape.

    Blue Danube,
The W.T. declined interviews for the same reason the
judicial committee declined to attend Bill Bowen's hearing.
It's called cowardice from public scrutiny (especially when
they are made to appear in a bad light).
