Dateline VHS Not Available

  I just called NBC to try to order the VHS tape of last night's segment on JW's, and they said that a taped version is not and will not be available because of copyright issues. I'm not sure how that works, I would have thought that the network was the owner of the program and could distribute it as it sees fit.

  Guess I'll have to settle for ordering a transcript...

  Thanks, TR. I actually taped it myself, too. But I thought the "official" tape would be of a higher quality, and I was hoping to order a copy.

  I'm sure that if there's any way the WT could figure to stop the dissemination of last night's damning program, they'd do it. You may be 'spot on' with your guess...

  It could also have something to do with the preview of the StarWars movie that was shown at the end of the program. It may NOT just be the WT who does not want Dateline to sell the VHS.
