What would you think if you discovered that a local elder had a warrant for his arrest?

Well there seems to be two options.
#1 Turn his ass in!
#2 assume that since he is a JW he must really be a good person so just pretend you don't know about it.
I vote for #1 if it is for murder, child abuse ,rape, theft or any other serious crime.
If it is parking tickets then forget it.

Also, in answer to your question, i would think,
"Hm. I wonder what crime the warrant was issued for."

I would think: " I wonder what it's for?"
What would the tower think?
If it benefits the WT PR to cut him loose, I think he would be DFed right quick. The WT legal would claim he was acting on his own.
If it would legally endanger the WT down the road, I think they would turn to the "War strategy" and fight, spending moneys into the millions if needed.
