  I think there is something the article leaves out, sounds like maybe divorce or custody battle going on also. It could also be the father is an ex and boy can't process that with all the Armageddon stories and that is why he talks badly about his father.

  Let it be understood that any child being brought up by devout JWS parents are inducing a kind of deliberating and crippling form on mental cruelty, instigated by the adherence to the doctrinal teachings of the Watchtower publishing house.

  The act of accepting that certain select men are directly connected to the spiritual world or God as it may be is always bring forth its own troubles, why ? simply because they aren't !

  The Daily Mail seem to be the only paper covering this story and I would not trust them for objective reporting. It is my guess that the kid shows signs of severe disturbance and this couple are estranged and bitterly at loggerheads.

  False statement, I've known both good and bad parents growing up a JWS.

  My mother was a very good and nurturing parent, on the other hand my father was both mentally and physically abusive to his children., both were baptized JWS for many years in good standing .
  

  Your making an openly biased assertion, of course most JWS are trying to be good parents but there are circumstances such as the forwarding propagation of the world coming to an end and the WTS instructs people in how not to be destroyed when judgment day comes, does instill deep fear inducing psychological problems for impressionable children and also restricts their intellectual growth as they mature into adults.

  The WTS main objective to get as many people as possible adjoined into their organization where they can be subdued and made subservient to the men who run this religious publishing house and they have no qualms about the exploitation and manipulation of children into that agenda.
