  How do you find the centre of an object?

  By finding its edges.

  Change the edges and you've moved the centre.

  Dateline is an excellent start to moving the centre
  of the corrupt Watchtower subculture. Witness kids
  who leave or go to college are good too. Lawsuits,
  public embarrassment over getting caught lying
  help move the 'centre' of this cruel and careless
  cult - possibly towards becoming a responsible religion
  - or just merited collapse.

  I'm looking forward eagerly to the second possible
  body blow to twisted Watchtower authority, namely

  the blood transfusion issue

  This one is the big enchilada, the mother of all
  dilemmas for the Brooklyn gerontocrats. This is the
  one issue that will take every ounce of skill and
  cleverness to sneak away from. Considering how poorly
  they crafted their PR lies - AFTER MONTHS OF WARNING
  AND OPPORTUNITY TO PREPARE! - I'm not optimistic
  they can pull this one off without anyone noticing.
  Perhaps Dateline has put just a gram of doubt in
  the heads of even brain-dead Witness zombies.

  Talk about lousy timing ( looks like that old Holy
  Spirit didn't help), they are faced with making this
  change in the midst of what might be the most serious
  erosion of their mythical authority ever.

  But at least they've made a start:

  Red. sticky synthetic blood with hemoglobin is OK

  No new blood cards

  Maybe, could be, if-the-elder-misplaces-his-clipboard
  no disassociation for Europeans who take blood

  and... I still can't find the issue in the new
  book for baptism "Worship the Only True God".

  I guess we just gotta 'wait on Jehovah'

  and his miraculous provision of the internet!

  No more waiting. Let's stop pussyfooting and do something now:

  A CALL TO YOU AND THE REST OF THE PUBLIC: Since the news media have exposed coverups of pedophiles (child molestors) by the leadership of:
  Jehovah's Witnesses
  Hare Krishnas
  Latter Day Saints
  Roman Catholic Church
  United Methodist Church

  We ask that the public and members of the above churches who want reforms to peacefully demonstrate concern, a simple immediate way being:

  to honk car horns when near the kingdom halls, temples, church buildings of the above

  This will not at all rule out other forms of peaceful demonstration but as said is easy to do and immediate!

  Also to help this gain momentum every reader is asked to email every person they possibly can a copy of what you are reading here now.

  Let the honking of the horns be like the tears of the molested, raped children, continuous until and if these shocking abuses end!

  just my opinion, but,.....the pedohpile rape issue is just starting.
  it's not a complicated issue,,,,,,,the general public understands what it is about.......it's not a doctrinal thing......there is no excuse for it.......and it's not accpeted in any society.

  to bring other issues into it would not be as effective.

  I agree with your thoughts on the blood issue. It would be nice to come up with something big on the heels of the child abuse issue. The blood issue IMO impacts many more people and it is easy to lay blame directly at the feet of the WT. The link between death and WT policy is very clear whereas in many molestation cases it is more vague.

  I don't believe many active JWs will really buy into the "pedophile paradise" but if it can click in their minds that they have been mistaken on the blood issue and the Society is aware and has failed to inform them, many members will be very upset.

  Overturning this major doctrine that is paculiar to JWs would be a major accomplishment. I think all that would be left would be to take on the disfellowshipping policy and then the religion should just be abandoned to waste away.

  I think the next engagement in this battle may come from Brooklyn. I have heard that the dried fruitcakes have decided to "go after" apostates with lawsuits for slander, libel, misappropriation of copyrighted material, etc.

  Maybe some of the WT spooks here can confirm this for us.

  Wars have an ebb and flow to them. The WTS may take the offensive.
