Most peoples mind's see the lyrics, that triggers the name of the song, which triggers the name of the singer/band.

    Not me.

but here is what I came up with. Thank you for the incredible frustration

    1. Adam Ant/

    3. J. Giels band/ Love Stinks

    6. Cars / ?

    8. Phil Collins? /

    12. Indigo Girls / Closer to Fine

    13. Yes/ ?

    14. Rush?

    15. CCR/ Centerfield

    17. Tom Petty/ Roll?

    19. ? (I know this one, dammit)/ Once in a lifetime

    21. John Cougar Melloncamp/ jack & diane

    24. Springstein/ Glory days

    25. ? / Stand?

I can hear almost all of those songs, but it seems to do me no good on a test

Is this a timed quiz? 'Cause I know more...they're just on the tip of my tongue.
    4. Modern Love/ D. Bowie
    8. I ain't missing you/ x-lead singer of the Babys(?)
    19. artist is Talking Heads
(I think Six should get x-credit for #6. That was the one Car's song that didn't sound like the cars.)
