Do corrupt congregations exist?
Some feel they do. Others would categorically deny it.
But if corrupt congregations do exist...
What MAKES them corrupt? Particular elders, publishers, families?
Where are these corrupt congregations located?
Expose corruption in the congregations!

All Jehovah's Witness congregations are corrupt. They all lie, push lies and have people in them who are dishonoring parents, and other immediate family. They all send money to a publishing company in Brooklyn that poses as God. Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted but I had to say it. I can think of no more corrupt group than the Tower. They are unnatural.
The first cong I was a part of was VERY corrupt, it was so corrupt the Society sent in the swat team, all the elders, servants and pioneers were deleted.
It took a good year but it was salvaged. And in two yearsd the congregation split three times because of the growth.

what makes them corrupt?
here's my guess,........ the P.O. in every congregation gets and keeps the appointment he has by ignoring justice in the light of being completely loyal to the gov body.
when he recommends elders, he recommends ones who are completely loyal to him, ones who don't question him.
as a result, the body of elders in each cong is void of free thinking, and becomes a gestapo for each P.O.
it's according to how abusive the P.O. is then, because any elders who dare question him, are quickly removed as elder, to maintain "unity" on the body of elders.
some P.O.'s are less abusive than others.......but they must always maintain strict loyalty to the abusive secret policys of the gov body, and they dare not go against the gov body, or they will loose their position.

Corruption in a hierarchy comes from top down. For example Leo Greenless was a pedophile, now pedophilia is all over in the kingdom halls.
Grunt is right basically. However I moved from a good congregation full of decent people to one that I would consider corrupt. In retrospect maybe it was the other way around. Regardless, the new congregation was full of two faced youth, strange elders, and no JW "unity" (compared to what I believed to be unity).
The differance between the two halls was that in the first, I think most of the brothers/sisters actually tried to practice what they preached. In the second it was all an act, with obvious corruption in the elder body.
BTW the reason we moved was so my dad could become an elder again since cong #1 knew him too well and would not give him privilages.
It worked out for me since it was easier to slip away from the new cong where no one really knew me or cared that I was leaving.
What do you mean by "corrupt"? Technically, EVERY Congregation is doctrinally corrupt. But then, I get the feeling that you're talking about an entirely different phenomenon.
