The wire article about this is found at "News and Events" on the All Forums part of this db. You're right TR, the Russians have been through enough without the Witnesses adding to their problems. However, I do believe in religious freedom; it's a shame the Watchtower doesn't.

Good for them. I believe people should be free to practice their own religion and be free to change their religion...it is a fundamental human right.
I believe that religions that use the Human Rights claim need to practice it themselves. So when a JW leaves the religion and attends another church they should be able to do so without reprisals like shunning from the JW's. Shunning a person is not showing respect and dignity which is breaking a fundamental Human Right.
JW's can't have it both ways without being hypocrits.
