If there are any elders reading this, may I suggest you read a few links that I've been digging around for? May I also invite you to contact me privately, (don't worry I'm not the divulging type) if you are able to send me a copy of the policy the local KH is covered under? PRETTY PLEASE?!?!?
I'd suggest you local KH's contact Church Mutual Insurance Company.
I've requested an information packet and I will scan and post images as soon as I have it.
Pull out the Insurance Policy that the WBTS has on your local congregation/church (remember in most cases they are self-insured) and make sure to find out what type of couseling coverage there is for you elders. Perhaps you will find that the insurance policy they have protects only THEIR financial assets and not YOU the Elder.
I bet you anything since they are self insured they will sacrifice you for their financial interests!!!!!
JR BROWN and the rest of them are building a case to say YOU ELDERS DO NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. That is the quote from a letter he wrote to Dateline.
This means when they are sued, they will simply produce "documentation" showing YOU DID NOT FOLLOW WT LEGAL DIRECTIONS and you will be held personally liable.
As much as I hate the WBTS and most of the Elders I've ever known have been two bit assholes, take this warning to the bank. You'd better find out now how much of your arse is exposed.
