JW's are in darkness, they need light to set them free.

I am not too sure what the subject here is but is must have something to do with having a spirit. Oh how I wish to have spirit so i can have what other spirits have which is the ability to fly like superman.

In modern times, the term "proselytism" has been used to mean forcible conversion of one kind or another. The Bible does not support such a practice. Rather, it teaches that men were created as free moral agents with the privilege and responsibility to choose how they will live their lives. This includes the decision of how to worship God. -Deuteronomy 30:19,20;Joshua 24:15.

Jesus respected this God-given right by never using his awesome power and authority to force, or coerce, someone into accepting his sayings. (John 6:66-69) He motivated his listeners by using sound reasoning, illustrations, and viewpoint questions, all with a purpose of reaching their hearts. (Mathew 13:34; 22-46; Luke 10:36) Jesus taught his disiples to show this same respect to others.-Mathew 10:14.

My last thought today is this. When making major life decisions such as what home to buy, where to work, and how to raise children, rational people do not do so on a whim. They may research their options, meditate on their findings and, likely, ask for advice. Only after taking these things into consideration will they make a decision.

The decision of how we should worship God desrves more of our time and effort than any other decision in life. It will affect how we live our life now, and more important, it will affect our prospect of eternal life in the future. This was clearly understood by the first-century Christians in Beroea. Even though the good news was expounded to them personally by the apostle Paul, they still carefully examined the Scriptures daily to make sure that what they were being taught was true. As a result, "many of them became believers."-Acts 17:11,12.

Today, Jehovah's Witnesses continue the teaching and disciple-making work arranged by Jesus. (Mathew 24:14) They respect the right of others to have their own religion. But when it comes to sharing their religios beliefs with others, they follow the pattern set out in the Bible. Yes, they use honest reasoning from the Scriptures in what they consider to be a life-saving work.-John 17:3;1 Timothy 4:16

I think you've already made up your mind that it will NEVER happen. Before you can become open-minded, you first have to OPEN your mind...it is so clear from your posts that you will continue to have a one-sided conversation and will not "listen" to others....and I think we all know where this comes from. (you don't wish to 'betray' the borg, so you'll be a good and loyal little robot who has no independent thought). Again I'll state, you previously complained asked for scriptural backup on topics, which several posters supplied to you, but you never responded to them.

I've never been a JW. But I have a friend who is one and who cannot answer this one question. For several months now, I've asked other active JW's on the board the same question, still it is ignored. I'll ask you.

The Catholics follow their authority to the "true" church of Christ through Peter and the Apostles. The Protestants, claim the Catholics went astray and they have restored the truth to the original Church, (therefore they claim they go back through Peter too). Even the Mormans claim to have the "true" church restored directly by God...Whatever....at least they all can trace their authority back to God (either you believe it or you don't). The Jehovah's Winessess claim to be the TRUTH, God's authorized eartly organization for the past 6,000 years. I understand JW history from Charles Russell to the present, but how do you get from Christ to Charles Russell? Where is there definite proof that Jehovah has said that the Witnesses are his only TRUE authorized earthly organization? Were there visions? Annointings? Visitations? What make you so sure that this is the TRUTH? Feelings, faith? Other people have strong feelings and faith. What concrete evidence do you have?

I get the feeling that the character Bleep is somebody's perverted fantasy. If so, it is hilarious! If not, it is still hilarious!

Did Jesus arrange it the way it is done by JW's today? Did people COLD call to everyhouse?

Did he institute a 6 month study programs (less now) ,Return visits, not at homes, keeping your time, marking someone as irregular or inactive? Did he read the morning text before they went out?

Do not other organisations have missionaries all over the world? Are not churches going up faster than kingdom halls?

About honest reasoning......you have alot to learn yet my friend, about the dubs.

JW's teach many truths.....don't get me wrong. They also teach lies. You'll find out soon enough if you stick around here long enough.

I think the main reason everyone picks on my own feelings is they dont have anything to offer. They say this and that but have no real tangable evidence. Give me more logic and less BOLD letters.

This board is FULL of answers/scriptures, whatever....if only you had eyes to see and ears to hear. Someday, you'll 'wake up' (probably on the other side), look back at this part of your life and say "What the hell was I thinking"!
