Extremely worried by the recent apostate attacks on their seemingly impregnable fortress of arrogance, the Society has taken steps to ensure that all loyal Jehovah's Witnesses are prepared to answer those pesky apostate questions that might provoke thought.

    Is it a new book?

    Is it a new video?

    Is it a new pamphlet?

No, it’s the new ‘LaLa (I’m not listening) musical fingers’

Whenever a situation arises that might provoke questions or independent thought, JWs simply slip this over their ears, and apostates, dumbfounded by this weapon of ‘Truth’ simply give up and walk away.

What a wonderful provision from the Faithful and Discrete Slave class this is brothers!

LOL! Amazingly enough, most Dubs don't even seem to NEED those, they've got built-in ones!

They've been digging in the Euphrates Valley and have uncovered a layer of agrarian culture 8,000 years old, and an older caveman culture. Recently, they reached another layer of fused green glass.

Cello, I note - in fact it's hard to miss - your apparent fascination with M.K. Gandhi. It's a fascination we share. I guess I've read most of what has been written about him, and also his own autobiography. And I have my own copy of the movie.

It's strange, isn't it, that perhaps the greatest Christian since the time of Christ is a Hindu? To me, his life illustrates what it really means to be a follower of The Master. I don't think that being a member of an organized religion that professes to be Christian and burdens its members with songs, prayers, and pastors on Sunday only to release them to six days of unspiritual or semi-spiritual living. If you're a Gandhi fan, I'm sure you know what I mean.

Didn't mean to wax eloquent about this. I just wanted to admire your man.

    Hey Frank,

I have yet to finish Gandhi's autobiography. I have only about 100 pages or so left. (Which is actually not much, considering how long it is.)

And yes, I really admire him. I know little about his later life, and I was too young when I saw the movie to really comprehend it.

But Satyagraha is a powerful concept, I gather. Did you read his work called something like 'A History of Satyagraha'? I haven't, but I want to.

So why has Gandhi fallen 'out of fashion' lately? He was practically all we talked about back in the 80's. Now everyone has forgotten about him.

Gandhi, he use to hang out with the beatles right?[8>]

It was Gandhi said if men would only adhear to one rule in the Bible, "The Golden Rule", then there would be no wars nor any starving children.
    Pretty simple.
