Of course, a clone would be identical to you but I guess that Jehovah could change the DNA.

just goes to show that both the bible and the 'geno typers' are wrong, for where, without women, would we worldwide have become 8 billion?

Is there any DNA in a rib? I thought it's just bone :-D Hahaha I like your post though, it made me laugh!

If god knew anything about genetics he would have made a woman as different as possible from Adams genes, to avoid disease etc.

If he could do all the fancy stuff to change the gender, why bother with a Male Rib in the first place ?

Maybe he foresaw how the Misogynist Paul would use the story later to subjugate women ?

One good thing about the story, god obviously approves of people who change their gender, as Steve did to become Eve.

That part of the creation myth always struck me as odd.

    • How was it that god made plenty of male and female animals of every species, but when it came to humans he just made the one man?
    • And was Adam originally made without genitalia and he added it later when Steve/Eve came along, or did god give him the junk originally and tell him not to masturbate no matter how good it felt?
    • And when god finally figured out that he forgot to make a woman, why did he need to take a rib from the man?
    • Had he previously made the females of every species out of a rib from the males of every species but failed to mention that in the Big Book of Jewish Fables?
    • Or did he have to do this surgery/clone procedure because he forgot how to make a human from scratch?
    • It he couldn't make eve from scratch, what does that say about his ability to resurrect humans that have been dead for millennia if he has to build new humans from spare parts from other humans and can't just whip them up from some dust and water?

Dang, Billy, I thought I had thought of most of the Bible questions and issues and things that don't make sense, but you just added a bunch to my list. I'm taking notes.

Steve had a divine gender reassignment.

So Eve was the world's first transgender human.

    Cool!

    Sex Determination and Sex-linked Inheritance

    1. How is the genetic determination of sex established in humans?

In the diploid genome of human beings there are 46 chromosomes, 44 of them are autosomes and two are sex chromosomes. The individual inherits one of these chromosomes from each parent.

The human sex chromosomes are called X chromosome and Y chromosome. Individuals having two X chromosomes (44 + XX) are female. Individuals having one X chromosome and one Y chromosome (44 + XY) are male. (Individuals 44 + YY do not exist since the chromosome Y is exclusively from paternal lineage.)
