Jehovah's witnesses make frequent claims that they model themselves on the early, 1st Century Christians.
If that is the case, why did the early Christians not refer to themselves as "Jehovah's visible organisation"?
Also, why did the early Christians not refer to themselves as the Governing Body, and as such, part of the Faithful & Discrete Slave?
I can't seem to find any reference to these "classes" of people in my Bible, all I can find is a parable about a slave. Can someone please show me where I am going wrong? I have asked this question so many times on various pro-JW boards, but no-one seems to have an answer.
This lack of response surprises me. I would have assumed that anyone who accepts this Governing Body as the Real Mc Coy, would at least have made sure that their track record was impeccable before adjusting their whole life to their teachings.
Maybe I'm overly-simplistic, but we have 3 cases here that I can't find any Scriptural referance to. That's the GB, the FDS and the VO, BTW.
