i'm new so i just saw last week's thread from RR on JW songs. if you all have already covered this, forgive me, but do you remember when we switched to the new song book years back? i tried so hard not to laugh with everyone trying to get the new songs down. and it was wrong to laugh because these were serious "prayers". my father would be giving me sideward glares while everyone around me lurched through the songs. i'm not trying to be critical, just remembering the comedy.
does anyone remember this?

I remember. I don't like the new ones any better than the old ones. I'm not criticizing them I just don't like them. First I don't like the music to most and then the lyrics for most are just sermons set to music.

I remember :) actually even when I still was going to the hall regularly about 5 years ago they still hadn't gotten them down yet!
<including myself> So funny. And most of those notes were way beyond my reach so often I'd find myself doing the lip-synch version of many a song. heheheEyes
