Did anyone catch Dateline last night, about the two Southern Baptist girls who went to Afghanistan?
Here is the link, if you care to read the whole story, which is quite remarkable:

Like the JWs, these two girls live in a world of denial!
What I saw was simply amazing! The girls had business cards made before they left for Afghanistan stating they were in the "Church Growing" business...yet when the interviewer asked them directly did they go there in order to start Christian Churches the #*$&$ LIED to his face and told him NO!!!
Then he showed her a copy of her business card, and she started weaseling around stating, "Well the word "convert" is so harsh" and "Most people don't understand what we're dong" and *ANYTHING* she could think of to deny the question.
It was really an eye opener for me, because my first thought was "This chick is engaging in the Southern Baptist form of TheoKratic War Strategy." She would have made J R Brown PROUD!!!
Of course, the other thing that I saw was the same guy interviewed her Mom, who was ABSOLUTELY OPPOSED to her daughter being used as a pawn for the Southern Baptist church. Her Mom was heartbroken that such an intelligent person could wind up being a pawn for what basically amounts to another form of a religious cult.
It really reminded me of the situation a lot of us face here.
