This is an excerpt from an article entitled "Jury Tells Of Abuses By Priests" from todays New York Daily News:
Under the subheading 'Unique Impact' and in paragraph two under this subheading the article reads: "Many of the victims testified they had been taught to believe that the abusing priest, often a family friend, "is always right" and "sits at the right hand of God." The victims said they kept quiet for fear of not being believed by their family, retaliation or punishment from God."
Do the words "sits at the right hand of God" and ' fear of not being believed and retaliation by God' sound familiar?
Worf.
