I've really got to get back into conspiracy theory. It's fun to read and makes for some interesting conversations at work with some of my more gullible co-workers.

In the mid-90's I kept up with the popular New World Order conspiracies. Waco and Ruby Ridge supplied them with fodder for years and while what happened I do believe to be murder at the hands of the federal government those tragedies certainly weren't part of some sinister conspiracy but just an out-of-control bureaucracy with way too much firepower for their own good.

I remember at the time there was this wacko, Linda Thompson, who had a shortwave radio talk show. She had people calling in bragging about shooting down the mythical Black Helicopters, that's how out there this chick was. (but then again, I haven't seen any Black Helicopters so maybe she was right and they got them all) She also did a segment about the Denver airport. I think that's the one anyway, whichever airport was built in Colorado in the 90's. According to Linda From La-La Land (as Soldier of Fortune referred to her) this airport was merely a processing center for Americans being sent to the many massive detention camps that no one has seen but are out there waiting for us patriots when the U.N. troops come in and take over.

I guess soccer stadiums are part of the massive communications network for those sinister blue-beret U.N. troops. You know who I'm talking about. The military forces that can't even walk to the corner store for a pack of smokes without getting their asses kicked by a bunch of illiterate locals with 20-year old weapons and no shoes.
