From Paradise Lost To Paradise Regained published by the WTBTS 1958, the orange A4 book with the dinosaurs on the inside front cover.

    P184 Para 31.

    Quote:

People not only break laws, but act so unkindly, so selfishly, so shamefully. Why? Because we are in the moral breakdown of the "last days." The Devil is to blame. It is his doing. ....

    Para 33:

Even children are going bad. Children steal. Children destroy property. Children fight and kill other children. Many children do not obey their father and mother; some even fight their own parents. Child crime is worse than ever before. Strange? No, it too was foretold. The Bible said that in the "last days" children would be "disobedient to parents." -2Timothy 3:2

    Para 34

Also foretold for the "last days" are people "having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power." (2Tim 3:5) This means many false Christians. This is because there are so many false religions today. ....

What do you think about quotations such as these, what message is given out?

    Your space ....

the message? "children are going bad." no blame to parents or society as a whole, they're just being "disobedient to parents." i dunno, genetic manipulation a la Farkel's "original sin for dummies" posts? doesn't seem to make much sense; just write it off as another sign of the last days.

since they specifically point out that children are being "disobedient" i assume they're REALLY talking about children of the rank&file, trying to comfort the "believers" on the loss of their kids to "false religion" or "worldly teachings."
