Hi all
I need the details of a JW 'expert'. Someone who is not a JW and never has been. A real expert in the UK for a programme going to be shot in July. Can anyone help please?

I think you'll find it difficult to find a non-jw jw expert. JWs are just not important enough a religion to warrant wasting time on unless you've been one of their victims.

I would doubt anyone who has never been through it would understand it completely ... the thought processes etc... but I wish you luck with your request.
How about someone who had family in? eg. what if some accademic had a wife or husband who was a JW and therefore had first hand knowledge of it?

There is a book that has been written by a non-jw and it is all about the witnesses. I am sorry that I can't tell you his name, but if you do an internet search you may find it. He wanted to write an un-biased book about the JW teachings and he spent some time associating etc...not to be enlightened but for research for his book. I think he was also from the UK. I'm sorry I don't have more info...I just remember reading about his book and sections of it, but I dismissed it because of his non-jw status...if that makes sense.

Keep an eye on the Book titles, some of them are writen by non JW's.
