For those interested in music festivals and 'green matters' I'm providing these two links for you to gain perhaps a little more insight into British music culture and the underground arts scenes.

Please browse. (Glastonbury is the largest festival in Europe)

I so wanted to be there! However, made do with the coverage on tv. Maby next year?

I heard on Radio One this morning that next year they will be selling 20,000 more tickets because security/crowd control arrangements worked so well this year.

I have never been to Glastonbury - not sure it is my sort of thing!

    Hey, Now free,it's everyone's thing!!

It's not until you get there that you realise just how diverse the whole place is.Everything from sculpture to theatre, circus to enviromentalism and everything in between including all religions;EXCEPT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES;represented.Where else can you have a good old chat with an anglican minister, covered in mud ,drink beer and watch the greatest names in music, then pop off to see a bit of Shakespere and get a massage?

    Remember-it's 100% Watchtower free!

Though the down-side is there have been deaths from drowning in the cess pits...I mean loos...!!

    Mark,

Why do you think the Americans on this board ..... ah, never mind, you made your point earlier - you were only trying to stir everyone up, weren't you???

Nowfree; No, I do not lie!

There have been drowings in the toilets at Glastonbury;they get very,um, slippery over time and you have to pay attention to your coordination;I hope that these unfortunate souls were so drunk they did' nt know the fate that awaited them that day.

I prefered to use the bushes-safe,dry and if you've had a few drinks they support you nicely.

    I've put you off, hav'nt I ??!!
