I don't remember Tyson landing one punch. If I had paid for that fight, I would have been pissed.

I saw the fight on and HBO replay one week after the fight. I was really glad to see Lewis beat up Tyson the way he did. Tyson is a low life thug, and I am glad is days in the lime light are over. Lewis strikes me as a gentleman, especially in contrast to Tyson.

I hope there is a rematch, and Lewis knocks Tyson into next week. Tyson needs a good dose brain damage to round out his career.

There is no scope for a re-match. Tyson's limitations were shown up for all to see. Tyson may not have a future in the division, certainly no one is going to put up the money again.
Tyson may have a future in the UFC.

I was surprised that he kept standing so long. He just kept taking his punishment without much resistance. But the interviews that followed were what threw me for a loop. For days after the fight I would just have these moments out of nowhere where I'd just think to myself, "damn, that was bizarre".
I don't think anyone was expecting the behavior shown by Tyson during the interviews. To behave like a gentleman with respect for Lewis right after getting the crap beat out of him was absolutely unexpected. I'm probably gullible, and I'll admit I bought it and I still believe he has some $$$ left in him. Perhaps less as a serious contender but still a name that is recognized and one that will sell. His next major fight will be important.

OK.....looking at it from Tyson's point of view.....the Lewis match was way too early. Tyson had fought no one of Lewis' class and most of his opponents he had knocked over in a round or two. Tyson couldn't throw punches in combinations like he used to. I wouldn't like to write the guy out of the picture as the division has very few names in it. He needs several fights though before going up against class opponents.
He caused Lewis some problems in the first. Lewis was holding on as a tactic to avoid a close in fight. If Tyson could sustain an attack he could still do something.
