Officially he's still a JW in good-standing although all JWs are shunning him anyway. The WTS has had its local elder body to not push things, apparently hoping to wait till a quieter time then disfellowship him. The others are on appeal but the WTS has slowed down with them apparently for the same reason. Not wanting as much bad press so soon. They are still reeling from the late June Newsweek and the Dateline NBC expose' of their pedophilia coverup policy, and there is growing fallout among Hispanic Americans and others over things like the secret affiliation the WTS had for 10 years with the UN and likely still conducts at unofficial levels. Meanwhile Amazing is coming up with thing indicating they may be unofficially cooperating with the National Council of Churches. And recently two female JWs in Minnesota also sued the WTS. It keeps mounting.

Who's next you think? The French, we know they're a bit suspicious of the JWs.

For NCC/WCC use search or email Amazing. The NCC is making it easier for eventual possible inclusion of both the LDS & WTS.

Just a minor clarification.
Amazing's research is currently unsubstantiated and based on speculation. It may very well turn out to be true but we shouldn't be running off at the mouth about it quite yet.
Amazing commented in a post that it is more the overtures taken by the NCC towardds the JW's and Mormans rather than the other way around. Tho one has to wonder why they would initiate those moves without some positive sign from the WTBTS that they would be receptive to it.
