  The FDS has been a flexible type of entity, that has evolved as time has gone along and folks have died.What will it go to next?

  It started off being a single man...the President of the WTS. Death and disappointment resulted in the FDS title being passed from President to President.

  However, as these died out it became identified with the 'Governing Body' comprising of anointed members. As members died off other anointed members came into the GB and made up the FDS.

  However, this small group are dying out altogether and the 'GB' as was resigned and a multitude of corporations were created. The 'GB' resigned to concentrate of 'spiritual things' but in effect they do very little. The literature is put together by 'normal' brothers through committee.

  So is the next step to say the FDS is now basically the writing committee? Made up of non-anointed ones? I had a similar question with a dub recently. I asked who was the FDS now. There was no real answer except some long winded waffle.

  Its a big joke, when you consider how the WTS say that JC appointed the FDS in 1919..as a single person.(Even though in 1919 they did not know he was ruling as king then) That was garbage then but the WTS tenaciously holds onto the idea that a FDS has been appointed.it just changes.

  I will share this thought with you take it for what it is worth- i have spoken to a couple folks who in my opinion should be in the know if anyone is in the know--

  as we are discussing this issue the GB are currently considering how to redefine the FDS- not the annointed not the 144,00 , but just the FDS since the dogma has connected this title to the feeding process-

  but even before i had spoken to anyone about this issue- for those of us who are in tune with wt thought pattern and how they lay out ground work long before and real noticeable change hits the fan realize that over 10yrs ago they started laying the ground work for the transfer of power from so call anointed dudes to nonannointed dudes

  at the district convention perhaps 10yr ago they introduced the rank and file to this new bible based group call the GIVEN ONES

  MANY of US KNOW these guys by name and one thing that stands out is that these guys were already the right hand men and major mover and shakers at bethel so when the title was bestowed upon them it was like O THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THE WORK ANYWAY already-

  the "scriptural basis" for this will be Moses and Josuah, Elijah and Elisha, and Paul and timothy

  where there is a transferring of power to CARRY ON THE WORK type explanation

  now with the GB pulling back from the direct connection to the legal arms of the org and putting in place "regular joe blows" they have sat the table for a NEW LIGHT of WHO IS THE FDS

  and as we will all see in a few yrs perhaps this new definition- of something allong the lines of anyone who is faithful is part of the FDS

  of course that is what apostates and other religions have been saying for years in thier interpertation of that bible text.

  so once again the mouth pc of jah is a DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT on the explanition of a bible text that other believers have for years explained it to mean

  based on what i have been told almost all the GB expect for a handful are not even ACTIVE per say in any real manner

  in other words if they wheel chaired all the gbs into the gb meeting on wed at 8am over half would be fast to sleep in thier wheel chair by 8:10am

  at this point the only real gb is Ted Jarazz- the new appointed guys are his Yes men and the Bethel Heavies such as Don Adams, Max Larson, George Couach. JR Brown, the ChucK Woodies and Dave Sinclairs, Harley Millers and crew these guys know they only serve and hold titles in the new Corps at the good pleasure of the GB= in my view they would not DARE DO ANYTHING such as try to break away- that is one of the things about RULE BY COMMITTEE no one wants to beheld responible for a bad decision let alone risk being sent back to the factory in the binary and someother CO, DO Branch guy be called in to take his place the next day

  when i read about posters saying there is going to be a split , PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  you dont get to this level as Farkel and Alan often say WITHOUT SELLING YOUR SOUL

  BESIDES since when have folks given up power and prestige- in order to correct the org means that all these BETHEL HEAVIES must go outside and GET A JOB

  you can wait for a cold day in Hell for that to happen( ok hell ain't hot), but anyway

  when the change is made it will be the straw that breaks the camel back for SOME but for the vast majority THEY WILL SAY after the study article points back to the changes that have already been implimented and say:

  "Even back then Jah was manuvering things" so this ain't new - WE JUST FULLY UNDERSTAND IT NOW- YES LORD JESUS NEW LIGHT"

  THE NEW LIGHT technique has in my research NEVER FAILED THE WT- o yea some will leave but don';t expect out of 6 million+ some 2or 3 million jw will walk away-

  New Light has always and will always be the ace in the hole-

  beside WT sells one hell of a product

  HOPE in a bettter world and as long as folks are suffering there will be someone somewhere who will try to grab the brass ring of wt

  Here is the typical breakdown ----

  GB Members = CEO, COO, CFO, etc.

  Bethel Heavies = VP of Marketing, VP of Operations, VP of Sales, etc.

  District Overseer = Regional VP

  Circuit Overseer = Director

  Elder = Manager

  Ministerial Servant = Sales Trainer

  Pioneer = Major Account Executive

  Publisher = Sales Representative

  Irregular Publisher = On a PIP, or Performance Improvement Plan

  Inactive Publisher = On a MAP, or Management Assistance Plan(one step away from being fired)

  Apostate = Left to work for a better company with higher pay. Did not give 2 weeks notice. Hired friends from last company to come on board too.

  Good stuff as always JT. New Light seems to work in their favor most of the time. I think dubbies look forward to a big doctrinal flip-flop every 10 years or so. Breaks up the monotony. The "generations" thing really hurt them in western lands, though. They didn't have a choice on that one though. The couch had become too short.

  they look forward to new light --- i recall the district was always welcomed for the chance to hear a "NEW POINT" that was such a catch phrase:

  "Did you get that New Point, bro Johnson talked about, the shoes of the jew lasted 40 yrs and it pictured the time in the new system when things will last forever, that is the first time i every heard or read that IN PRINT- and the new release goes into great detail about those shoes they wore and what it means for our day"

  I wonder if they (GB) ever considered returning to the original doctrine of ONE MAN being the 'slave'.

  It would be a great way to consolidate power if things ever got shaky in Bethel. They could go back to the old...'it turns out Russell was right ALL ALONG!! Isn't new light wonderful, brothers?'

  If this went down, it's obvious who would wear the crown...Teddy-Boy, right.

  But, I don't think that nowadays, with information flowing as it does, I don't think that one man as the FDS could withstand the scrutiny. I think the GB likes their safety in numbers. Just a thought.
