I'm happy to hear the legal battles are over.

I'm greatly saddened to hear the girl's condition is not improving. The wors part is, if this girl does not get better, The Society (TM) will no doubt use this case to show how, using their special brand of ridiculous (ill-)logic, "their worldly blood transfusion are useless -- see! We told you so!".

How tragic for Lawrence that his little girl's chance for life seems to be slipping away despite his heroic efforts to make sure that she got the very BEST medical care to optimize her chances.

The Supreme Court of Canada must have felt there was nothing new worthy of consideration with this case -- after all, it's the same old, same old [bullshit]!

    (((((((((((Lawrence and family))))))))))))))

Thanks for the heads up, Nic'!

The response to that would be: the father sacrificed his friends, family, and worldly possessions to buy his daughter six precious months with her 'loving' mother and sisters and congregational friends. (He, of course, is shunned by her in return for this 'gift')

Watchtower, what did you do? threaten her with expulsion and shunning if she didn't do what you told her to do. If she didn't just die like you told her to do. If she didn't fight with every ounce of her being, the blood transfusions, like you told her to do. That's what YOU did Oh! Loving Watchtower!!!

    Some 'Christian' love.

The girl said in court that she wanted to live, that she didn't want to die. That she wanted medical treatment and that she wanted the chemotherapy. From there, the family split, but the father gave her everything she asked for.

The statements that the papers keep making is a joke.."JW's don't believe in blood treatment, any form of blood treatment". What a crock, they take EVERY form of blood there is except five kinds. Rivers if not oceans of blood go to treat JW's with hemophilia and RH factor alone. I always thought it was funny that JW's are NEVER quick to correct these 'misunderstandings'.

Religiously speaking, I'm not sure of what I believe anymore but I couldn't help but pray for a miracle for this family. If they (miracles) actually exists I don't know of any situation more deserving of one.

What really said is the girl is not really given a chance to know the whole blood doctrine story of the WTS and how insane it really is.
