I was told recently by an ex Jw (who gets all the literature so as to keep updated) that it was okay to salute flag if your conscience allows.....I guess this fellow must a very"Bible trained conscience" or I should I say "Watchtower trained conscience" Jws don't usually try to get jobs in that type of work do they. I wonder if they will let him stay on and clean the latrine? It's better he get out of that line of work anyways because I would think there would be some side long glance from his fellow worshippers.
I am still somewhat steamed about being allowed to do alternative service in time of war. Orderlies, cooks etc. It's now okay if you want to do that......Think of those jws who years ago did time in prisons and concentration camps for being so neutral. Think of their sacrafices. What a slap in the face.

OK to salute flags?
I don't think you should accept EVERYTHING your ex-JW telles youas being "the truth" about "the truth" ........
The only ones I've see doing so, were the two famous sisters.

It's ironic how this guy signs up to be a police and uphold this country laws, yet he won't salute the flag. What's wrong with this picture? He needs another job anyway.
