There are approx. 6,000,000 JW worldwide, how many of that number have any clear idea as to how the central part of the organization functions? How many of them know how decisions as to doctrinal teachings are reached? How the GB that directs ALL their activities worldwide conducts its discussions, whether decisions are consistently unanimous or what is done if there is disagreement?

    EXAMPLE:

What decision would the GB make if asked: IF ANAL INTERCOURSE WERE SOLID GROUNDS FOR ADULTERY?;;(Past; Present & Future?)

The only way a witness would know the inner workings would be to read Ray Franz' books.

Or be part of the inner workings themselves!!!

Hi on the subject of anal intercourse, I remember being at a book study once, the book was the family life book, you must remember it, bottle green with horrendous ideals..anyway during this particular study, one middle aged lonely batchelar gave an answer about wives not fulfilling their "duties" by their husband. Standard crap blah blah blah and then he said that while at an assembly in Canada,(this guy was Irish like me and in an Irish BS), he heard a talk about sexual devients and apparently oral sex and anal sex were a big no no as babylonians and eygptians practiced these positions! Well apart from the fact that I nearly pissed myself trying not to howl hysterically at this answer, queries sprung to mind:

    a. how would anyone know if you had anal/oral sex with your husband? oh I forget Jehovah would know and you would have to confess everything to the nearest elder!!!

    b. also, I'm pretty sure the ancient civilisations also practiced the missionary position ergo is that disquailified too???

Also just to confirm, the geriatric elder and his wife backed this answer up 100%!

well, to start with, im not a JW. never was, never will be. so, sorry if i break the mode of EX-JWs. the big problem though, is that my girlfriend is a JW. which kinda contradicts a big part of her beliefe, but oh well. truthfully, i have a lot of questioned, questions that i dont think could be answered by JWs becuase i honestly dont think they dont know the answers themselves. well to start with....

How can they justify (sensibly) there ability to write there NWT after they had a doctrin? Then say that it is an exact translation of the original Bible, with no alterations to more closely fit there doctrin. Also, if this in fact was an exact translation, why werent any of the writers/translater's names givin to recieve credit?

.....some kind of JW respons would be nice, im trying to learn as much as i can about the religion, ive studied enough to no its a huge lie, and that its hurting a lot of people....so if i could get a respons, that would be great...thanks.
